I hope to, a definite maybe

I have resided in Columbus Ohio since 1967. I was a student at OSU, graduated in Human Resources. About 1985, I became a union representative at OSU. During this 20 year employment I enjoyed my 15 minutes of fame until politics caused this exciting work to evaporate (a long story). After this I was self employed as an appraiser and agent in real estate. Recently, I returned to Ohio State as student with a major in English. On May 24, 2016 my son Avidan was born. He is my only child and I am now blessed with a child in my later years.

I left Heights High in 10th grade and graduated elsewhere. My memories at Heights include being paddled for chewing gum in gym (I still remember the pattern of black and blue marks on my tush), swimming naked in swim class, and flunking English. I lived near Mayfield and Noble and hitch-hiked to school often. I was a smoker then so I took lunch across the street, sometime at Mawbeys (grilled onions), and other times at Michaels (gravy on the fries). Then Wally's pool hall in the basement and Freddie's at Taylor and Cedar (Freddie was alleged to be Capone's driver in earlier life).

I left Heights in 10th after doing terribly and my parent's sent me away to a private all male boys Prep School in Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. After graduation I attended Ohio State University.

Prior to Heights I attended Monticello and Noble. Also, my mother Ruth Shiffman attended Noble, Monticello, and Heights. My father Robert attended Coventry, Roosevelt, and Heights. My siblings John, Roger, and Linda were all Heights graduates as well as 3 uncles.

I was headed for trouble since second grade when I was lectured for saying a swear word. What I wanted to do? Find love (my wife Leah), have a child (Avidan), and work at something I like to do (had). I have found success in all these efforts.

I have more energy than people half my age

That I survived and still doing it: new child, attending college, working, learning, caring, having energy, and mostly having a positive attitude.
